Life in a vast, ancient, and arid landscape, marked by the alternation of steppes, deserts, and valleys: this is the Mongolian countryside.
You can lose yourself in the dusty silence and suddenly feel initiated into the mysteries of life, death, and their harsh interplay. Or you can take refuge in the intimacy of an infinitely small and welcoming ger, before it transforms into a shell to be slowly carried in a caravan.
The coexistence between humans and animals is the most apparent symptom of nomadic life; animals are companions, sustenance, and sources of wealth.
Everything follows the rhythms dictated by nature, in a continuous and resilient adaptation.
